I specialize in School Motivation, Anxiety, and Well-Being, helping students navigate their educational journeys with confidence and resilience. My work extends to fostering Personal Growth, aiding individuals in realizing their full potential. I work with both Adults and Teenagers, offering tailored support to meet their unique needs and challenges. Additionally, I support parents with their children's schooling, providing guidance on effective parenting strategies and on the responsible use of technology at home.

PRACTICING UNDER SUPERVISION:
In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches under supervision. I am extensively trained in Bioenergetic Analysis Therapy, which explores the connection between the body and emotional well-being. I also employ Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, a practical approach that emphasizes solutions rather than problems. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. Whatever the approach, it is important for me to develop in you an awareness of bodily feelings and attitudes, as "a person becomes split into a disembodied spirit and a disenchanted body." — Alexander Lowen.

STUDIES:
I am currently pursuing a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy at The School of Positive Psychology in Singapore (with an expected completion date of September 2024) and probably bridging to third year of Master degree (M.A.) in Counselling and Psychotherapy by the University of East London. For the base of my psychotherapist competencies, I have completed a very serious 5-year training program in Bioenergetic Analysis and all its requirements; I hope to be soon in the final stages of obtaining my certification. I also hold a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences with exceptional honors, specialized in Educational Psychology from the University of Montréal, completed in 2010.

MEMBERSHIPS:
I actively contribute to professional networks and committees. I am a member of the Strategy Team at the Singapore Positive Education Network (SPEN), where we work towards enhancing positive education practices. Additionally, I serve on the Scientific Committee of the Observatoire du Bien-être à l'école (OBE) at Université Lyon Lumière 2 in France, focusing on well-being in schools.

EXPERIENCES:
With a career spanning nearly three decades, I have extensive experience as a Primary School Teacher with Pre-service Teacher Supervision since 1996 and Teacher Trainer since 2005. Since 2010, I have been dedicated to research in Educational Psychology and Technology, contributing to the understanding and improvement of educational outcomes and well-being.

My journey in psychotherapy began in 2005 after attending classes with Professor Edith Fournier at the University of Montreal, where I learned about the importance of emotions in the body and the significance of mental and physical space for learning within the teacher-student relationship. From there, I underwent IIBA training in Quebec under the experienced guidance of International trainers Denis Royer, Louise Frechette, and Guy Tonella ans local ones as René Racine and Michel Brien, followed by supervised practice and therapy for myself as a requirement to better understand the process. Today, as I reboot my private practice with the Holistic Psychotherapy Center in Singapore under the leadership of Dr. Sunita Rai, after a professional journey in education in China and Singapore, I look forward to helping residents of Singapore and abroad. My ultimate goal is to introduce the Asian population to the powerful techniques of Bioenergetic Analysis, which have been developed and refined over the past seven decades.
