Theme: "Reflecting back, looking forward – Essence and Growth in Bioenergetic Analysis"
2016 marked 60 years since Alexander Lowen established the IIBA, and that conference celebrated that achievement, both celebrating what we had achieved and looking forward to what is on the horizon.
We also focused on: sexuality, chronic relational trauma, and social conscience and action, we are dealing with the effects of destructive forces and behaviour at the family and society level.
We looked at what can be done to ameliorate and even prevent these effects. And we came together to support and care for each other in the difficulty of working with these destructive elements in our patients and the society around us, and even in ourselves.
